My sympathy to Karen and Ed,s family. I met Ed through Karen and Angie. He was a very nice man.

I was fortunate to work with Ed during his American Family tenure; I was his personal lines underwriter for many years. Ed was always a friendly, honest man and I can't ever recall having a disagreement with him. He always sought to do what was best for his people. He would always take the time to stop and chat if we ran into each other at some function. My sincerest condolences to Ed's family and also especially to Karen. It was so wonderful that Karen and Ed found each other at a time when they needed one another most. May all the grief that now fills your heart soon be replaced by memories of special times and fun times you shared.

One of the good guys indeed! My husband and I were neighbors with Ed…and with Marilyn before she passed. We enjoyed many gardening and hunting conversations with him and he was always willing and able to help out a less experienced couple with home projects.
