I remember when I slaved all day making lasagna for a dinner party that Pete and Renee attended,,, I was so worried about it because Pete was soooo Italian.... He gave me the thumbs up when he left and I felt soooo good...... because he was the expert in my eyes for anything Italian......and he said "fantastico".....it made my day and I've kept the receipt ever since....

Renee, So sorry to hear of Pete's passing. Keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

My condolences for your loss, Renee. I enjoyed fun times with you and Pete as I was growing up.

Pete was a wonderful person who always looked at the positive side of life. Whether it was golf or Badger sports or just life, he looked at the upside. We enjoyed many fun pool parties at your Verona home where Pete and you, Renee, were the perfect hosts. We will all miss Pete, and hope the happy memories comfort you.

Pete was many things to many people and a great friend of ours. He made you feel special, like when he would great me as..."Senator". The consummate host, you always felt welcome in Pete's presence. It may have taken him almost 50 years, but we could all learn something from Pete's dedication to Renee. We will miss his warm smile, wry humor and tireless dedication to the UW Badgers. To our paisan we say..."Cent' Anni"!
