Obituary

MONONA - Brian T. Patrick of Monona, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023, at UW Hospital. He was the son of Joseph and Charlotte (Johnson) Patrick.  


Brian lit up the room when he entered and enjoyed spending time with his many close friends, including Alex Remington, and his teammates at Fabick Cat.


Brian is survived by his brother, Sean (Paulette) Patrick; and nephews, Daniel, Aaron and Thomas; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.


A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2023.  Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.

I remember Brian going out with my sister many years ago. His mother and him would come for Holidays. Very nice person so sorry for the family RIP Barbara Ruud Baggs.

My condolences to Sean and his family. Our families moved from Illinois in the mid-1960’s as both of our dads transferred from another newspaper to work as photojournalists for Wisconsin State Journal. I enjoyed the early years with Sean and Brian as I was growing up back when our families would get together. It felt like they became our surrogate cousins as a trip “down home” averaged 8 hours on old Hwy. 51.
