Obituary


LODI - Violet Zeman Densmore Attoe, age 97, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2025, at Dove Heath Care. She was born in the Town of West Point on June 30, 1927, to Emma and Charles Zeman.  She lived in the Lodi area most of her life except when she was working at the Milwaukee County Hospital.  She returned to Lodi and married Wesley Attoe in 1967 They farmed together for 46 years until his passing in 2013. She was an active member of the Lodi United Methodist Church.


Violet is survived by her sons, Stuart (Sue) Densmore and Doug (Wendy) Attoe; grandchildren, Vicki Troyer, Wendi Densmore, Amanda (Branden) Errthum and Aryn Attoe; great grandchildren, Jeremy Jones, Tyler Troyer, Courtney and Zack Densmore, and Enzo Errthum; great-great grandchildren, (Jeremy Jones’s twins) Ava and Sidney Jones; her brothers, Robert, John, Thomas (Debra) and James (Yvonne) Zeman, all of Wisconsin; her sister, Ann Seegar of Tillamook, Oregon; her sister-in- law, Ethel Slack; and two brothers-in-law, David (Audrey) and Jim (Barbara) all of Wisconsin.


In addition to her husband Wesley, she was preceded in death by her parents, Emma and Charles Zeman; her sister, Betty (Robert) Johnson; her brothers, Arnold (Miriam), Russell (Marie), Vern (Zella), Charles (Gloria) and Joe Zeman; her sisters-in-law, Lois and Bonnie Zeman; her grandson, (Stuart’s son) David Densmore, and many other relatives and friends


A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON LODI FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 157 S. Main St., Lodi on Sunday, February 9, 2025, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Burial will be at the Garden Bluff Cemetery next to her beloved husband, Wesley in the spring with her family.

O my God what a hoot at the farm with all the activities we had as kids will always be with me she will be missed extremely

Never forget running into her at burnstads grocery store in sauk she was driving the blue LTD had a flat tire in the parking lot didn't know how to change it she came back in the store and found Pat and I so we changed it for her
