Obituary
OREGON - Barbara A. Bailey, age 79, of Oregon, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, Feb. 6, 2023. She was born on Nov. 19, 1943, in Madison, Wis., the daughter of Milfred and Lorraine (Drengson) Nummerdor.
Barbara graduated from Madison East High School in 1961. She married the love of her life, Kenneth L. Bailey, on July 11, 1964. Barbara was a stay-at-home mom raising her two daughters, Tracy and Kristina. After the birth of her son, Scott, she was employed by Fine Art Checks and Liberty Checking until her retirement in 2005.
Barb enjoyed traveling, Las Vegas was her happy place and she loved the slots. With her love for Elvis, going to Memphis to visit Graceland was another enjoyable trip. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
Barb is survived by her three children, Tracy Bailey of Oregon, Kristina Bailey Hanamann of Oregon and Scott Bailey (Belinda Rose) of Reedsburg. She is also survived by her two sisters, Sally (Dick) Pilsner and Susie (John) Nelson; and brother, Larry (Betsy) Nummerdor. Her greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren, Collin Bailey and Jenna Bailey. Barb was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and her sister, Karen (Paul) Braun.
A celebration of life will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 1150 Park St., Oregon, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2023.
