Obituary

MADISON - Brandon Gregory Whitish, age 39, of Madison, passed away on Monday, Feb. 6, 2023. He was born on Nov. 11, 1983, in Madison, the son of Greg and Natalie (Knuteson) Whitish. He graduated from LaFollette High School in 2002.   


Brandon was a kind, generous, and compassionate person. He loved helping people and was eagerly involved in the recovery community. He was always the first person to help and the last one to leave, making sure that everything was taken care of. He loved working on cars and enjoyed bowling and playing volleyball with friends.


Brandon is survived by his parents; sister, Shannon (Adam) Wagner; uncle, Mark (Jeanne) Whitish; aunts, Sue Whitish, Barb (Earl) Chandler and Janene Knuteson; nephew, Parker Wagner; several cousins and close friends; as well as his cat, Daphne, who loved him very much. He was preceded in death by his brother, Aaron Joseph Whitish; grandparents, Elmer and Shirley Knuteson and Edward and Glennis Whitish; and uncles, Doug Whitish and Jeff Knuteson.

A celebration of life will be held at BADGER FARMS, 1682 County Road BB, Deerfield, at 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023.

I only knew Brandon a short while in a group at Tellurian. I enjoyed his fun, positive nature and his enthusiasm to succeed. My heart is heavy, I am very sad. I am very sorry for your loss and will pray for you and all that feel his loss.
