Ken truly loved all creatures great and small, flora or fauna. As a neighbor we often spoke about birds and insects, and for a while were challenging each other during summer to find baby monarch caterpillars to see who had more. Our last conversation was about birds, trees and plants. Ken was always a wealth of information for me when I had questions on my garden. You are missed Ken!

I'm so sad to hear of Ken's passing. He was one of the nicest, friendliest people I've ever met. He trained me in my current position at DWD and we became fast friends. We kept in touch and shared our love of animals and our trials and tribulations in learning to play piano. He always had such funny remarks about the piano. My sympathies go out to George, Ken's family and his beloved pets. Sending prayers to all of you.

Ken was great to work with at DWD. He always had a smile on his face and was very helpful. My fondest memory is him bringing his lunch to work everyday in a very old, worn out padded cooler. He loved that thing! May memories like this help you through the days ahead. My thoughts are with all of you.
