Obituary
MADISON - Loutrice L. Thompson, age 43, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2023, at UW Hospital and Clinics. She was born on Aug. 2, 1979, in Detroit, Mich., the daughter of Louis Zeigler and Truzella Thompson.
Shell attended Detroit Public schools. She worked as a computer data processor at Goodwill Industries for many years, and prior to that she worked at the Dollar Tree. Shell was a Detroit Lions fan. In her free time, she enjoyed playing video games, watching shows on A&E, and spending time with her sister, Wendy, who was also her caretaker during her four-year battle with cancer.
Shell is survived by her sister, Wendy Thompson; son, DeMarco Lewis; daughter, Ayrial Lewis; her children’s father, Victor Lewis Jr.; two nephews, Nathan Thompson and Ezzard Purdue Jr.; and niece, Robbyn Cloyd. She was preceded in death by her mother, Truzella Thompson; nephew, Shawn Caesar Knox Jr.; and a host of other family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held at CHRIST THE SOLID ROCK BAPTIST CHURCH, 4200 Buckeye Road, Madison, at 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 3, 2023. Visitation will be held at the church from 4 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday.
