Tony was always a fantastic cousin-Dan Halvorson

Tony was the quintessential team member at RRD. His knowledge, expertise and of course is genuine team focus made him a treasure. Kindness was Tony. He will be so missed and will forever be in our hearts.

Being from Underwood, I ‘knew’ Tony for many years before I got to know him when we both went to NDSCS. I will always remember talking and laughing in the dorms and seeing each other around campus. I didn’t see Tony after we both moved to other areas but have always considered Tony a friend. He was such a great, funny guy. I was so shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. My condolences to Tony’s family and numerous friends. He will be missed but his memory will live on through so many people he impacted. Sonja Lien

My brother, Derrick Nelson, was lucky enough to be a lifelong friend of Tony's. I don't have one memory of Derrick and his friends growing up that doesn't involve Tony. I last saw him a few years ago in Battle Lake while their class was having a reunion during Wenonga Days and he called me over to talk. Truly a great individual, always hilarious, larger than life kind of person. Sincere sympathy to his entire family, peace and love to all of you, and God bless you and God bless the memory of Tony.
