MADISON - Timothy Joseph Lenihan, aged 77, passed away on November 12, 2024, in Madison, Wis. Born on August 28, 1947, Timothy served in the U.S. Army during pivotal times, including deployments in Vietnam and Korea in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
Timothy was a skilled carpenter, a trade that defined much of his professional life. Beyond his career, he was passionate about reading, watching Western movies, and fishing, activities that brought him great joy and peace.
Timothy was the beloved father of Jayce and Chad, whom he shared with his late partner, Christine Lee “Tina” Orr. He was a proud grandfather to Alexus, Desiree, Eliza and Ethan.
He is survived by his brothers, Ray, Mike, Steve and Paul; his daughter, Jayce; his son, Chad; and his grandchildren, Alexus, Desiree, Eliza and Ethan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Alice (Anderson) Lenihan; his father, Joseph Lenihan; his brother, Gene; and his partner, Christine Lee “Tina” Orr.
In lieu of services, contributions may be made to the DAV (Disabled American Veterans), an organization that supports military veterans.
Timothy's life was marked by his enduring strength and dedication, both in his personal endeavors and in service to his country. His legacy will live on through his family, his work, and the memories cherished by all who knew him.
