I was saddened to learn of Ed's recent passing. I first met Ed in 1972 as my neighbor across the street on Derby Down. I have nothing but fond memories of Ed. Ed was a kind neighbor, and he was always around on the weekends for social gatherings and fun times. Several years later, I fell in love with a woman whose father had passed away. Ed was kind enough to escort my future wife down the aisle. During Ed's retirement years, I had the opportunity to play many games of golf with him. Over the years, Ed had earned the nickname, "Steady Eddy" as his golf ball always landed in the middle of the fairway off the tee. May Ed's Soul rest in peace, and may the Almighty give strength and comfort to those that knew him.

Oh I so appreciated Ed and Mary. I had so much fun with them. I knew Mary through the healthcare world. The world is a better place because they were here.

I really liked working with Ed until my retirement.
He was the man who handled labor relations and handled it well. I could always count on him. I enjoyed his approach to issues as well as his sense of humor.
