Such an honor to have known Bee. I met her as a collegian in 1990 through Theta Phi Alpha and at the many conventions following. She certainly modeled lifetime commitment to our sisters across the country. She was genuine, kind and always smiling. Her light will continue to shine through all she touched. She will be greatly missed.

I worked with Eleanor while at Dept of Corrections. She was like a mother to me. She was very special lady. May Eleanor rest in peace with our Lord. Jesus I trust in You.

Dear Davidsaver Family,
I am celebrating the life of Bee with you today, albeit from afar in the frozen north. Although I wished I could be present with you, I was able to watch the celebratory mass on-line and appreciated the chance to do so. I remember fondly many family gatherings and celebrations when Bee and Bill and our folks, Joyce and Don, (and ALL of us really!) were quite a bit younger. It didn’t really dawn on me until our mum passed what an influence Bee must have had on her. Our mother lost her mother when she was just 10 years old so never had a mother to guide her during her early years as a mum. I think Bee was one of the very few who played the role of mentor for her. So, in a very real way, your mother mothered our mother and therefore, indirectly (and perhaps many times directly) all the Ford kids as well. I am grateful and blessed to have known her and been influenced by her. Peace to you all today and you remember her and celebrate her!

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom and to the entire family and her many friends in the many roles she served, and for the christian foundation she represented and brought to or recreated for so many who have not had that continued inspiration and strength in today's world. I had the pleasure of meeting her when she was part of our 4-H club with a few of you kids. You could tell her immediate passion for respect, honor, helping kids -- and everyone really as your tribute to her so recognized -- and being a leader in the 4-H world as well, making everyone be proud of who they are and be good at whatever 4-H project you pursued, and even when we had to give those health and safety speeches in front of the club at every meeting. God bless a beautiful lady and honorable citizen and leader for all that she represented. Our sympathy to all of her family and friends with your loss.
