I’ll never forget Gene taking us (the three Hunter children) for a ride on a 4-wheeler around their property. We were all pretty little, but one of us cranked up the power a little too hard and we all ended up on our backs in a pile on top of Gene. No one was hurt, thankfully, and we split a gut laughing and made a memory I’ll never forget.
I’ll also never forget my then 2-year-old daughter enchanted by the gentle “Mr. Gene Woller” and practicing winking so she could wink back at him at church.

I'm saddened by the news of Gene's transition. Gene was everything a friend could ask for; to the many pranks we played on each other with his time at Plastic Ingenuity, Organizing a ski outting at Tryrol Basin, to pounding nails on your home addition, to enjoying the succulent nectar of your Honey n hours of light given by the Bee's wax rendered.... A true mentor of advice and devoted Listener!!! Along with the laughter over the shenanigans we had, n y'all are in my thoughts n prayers.. Sending healing Blessings n that Twinkle in his eye are now in the stars that light our night sky!!!
Love, Kenny Kemp

In memory of fun times together.
Donna and family, you have our deepest sympathy. We have lost a very special friend. Knowing that Gene is in heaven with our Savior Jesus brings us comfort but he will be dearly missed. Looking forward to spending eternity with him someday. Praying that God will comfort you and others who are so saddened with his passing.

I had the pleasure of meeting Eugene for the first time about 30 years ago when Donna and Eugene welcomed my family to their lovely home in Mt Horeb as we had come to visit from Australia. I remember feeling so welcome and Eugene teaching me to sled down the driveway. He was so kind and patient with my brother teaching him to ski.
I again visited Wisconsin as an adult with my own children and husband. Once again Eugene was so kind. There wasn't any snow this time but Eugene took the kids for rides on the gator up and down the driveway and showed them all about the bees. This is something our children have never forgotten and our daughter now 6 years later proudly wears her Gentle Breeze honey hat.
It was such a lovely experience to share a holiday to China with Eugene and enjoy the experience of walking the Great Wall of China. It was a tough walk on a hot day but Eugene did not give up and it was a great achievement to complete such a significant walk. It was a pleasure knowing Eugene and we are so grateful for our Wisconsin family.
