To share a single moment about and with Jeff would be impossible.. There was so many great memories with Jeff from over the years. He truly was a great mentor to me, especially in the Fire Service. If it weren't for Jeff I don't know if I would have chosen to make a career out of the Fire Service. We certainly shared a lot of laughs, went on numerous calls together..Jeff always was there when you needed help and never expected a thing in return. He will be greatly missed by many.. Jeff has left an impression on so many people.over the years.. I am blessed to have had a friend like Jeff. God speed brother.

I am so very sorry for the unexpected passing of Jeff. Our paths crossed every deer season when Maynard and Jeff would make their way through valleys and hills to come and check in on my step-dad, Duane Schroeder, and me to see how we were doing. I remember the sincerity in each of Jeff's visits; catching up on the day to day comings and goings of our lives. The fact that he would always go out of his way just to say "hi" is a testament to the type of person he was. We need more people like Jeff in this world. I am thankful to have met and known him, even if for a little while. God bless you all and please know that I am praying for your entire family for healing over time.
I found these words to be of comfort after losing my dad and step-dad:
"I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death.
They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make.
Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories.
We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love."
God bless you,
Paul Miller
