Obituary

MADISON - Donna Mae (Bjelde) Bossenberry, age 92, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2022. She was born on Oct. 5, 1930, in Madison, the daughter of Raymond N. and Maybelle (Rutlin) Bjelde.


Donna married Dale Bossenberry on March 24, 1951. They were together for 68 years until his passing in 2019.


Donna attended Madison schools and graduated from Madison East High School in 1949 and from UW-Whitewater with a one-year secretarial degree. She worked retail at Manchester’s but primarily had secretarial positions throughout her life, including Roselawn Memorial Park. Prior to her retirement she also worked for the Wisconsin Conference of SDA for 16 years.


Donna is survived by her two daughters, Susan and Diane; three grandchildren, Ryan, Kyle (Gabby) and Tera Hubanks; and one great-grandson, Liam.


Private services and burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
