I’ve been a close friend of Lydia for over 25 years. We first met when I was a new Nurse Practitioner with degrees and certifications and no experience. She unselfishly and patiently shared her experience and knowledge with me to give me an understanding of the “art of psychiatry”. Lydia treated all her patients with care and respect, giving equal time and quality care to her well to do private patients and her less fortunate patients in the clinics. She was a strong advocate for all the children under her care. We became personal friends from the start and my children grew up thinking of “Dr.E” as part of the family. We have so many memories of happy times shared. I am so grateful for our years as friends and will miss her. Lydia did much to improve the lives of so many. My condolences to Juan, Carlos, Marco, Kristina and all the family members.

Dr Espinoza was my hero... I was a pt of hers for many years in the 90s.. she helped me through so much.. I reached out to her back around 2014 or 2015 and we talked for a while and caught up even then she meant the world to me.. I was sitting here tonight with her on my mind and I Google her and found my review I made in 2015 then I was looking for news on her for her retirement announcement and much to my dismay I found this obituary and my heart hurts for her family.. this saddened me to my core but I know that she was a woman of faith and im sure she is resting peacefully watching over her family and her patients.... I know I have gained another guardian angel... rest in peace Dr E... to the family you all have my thoughts and prayers.. sincerely Natalie Broom
