Uncle Rod was a kind, genuine, and extremely humble person. A fantastic father and even more fantastic husband. A million memories have been made I’m sure of that. My Aunt Cookie and their 4 girls r beyond blessed to have called him Bum and dad. He was one of the good ones!! 💙

Bum was a man of little words but when he did talk, it was worth it. He always had a smile for me when I came over to play with Emily and Katie when we were little. When we were older, there was usually a sarcastic comment or joke waiting for me. I'll always remember you, Bum. You all made your house my second home. Anne (Bennin) Halm/Charlie Brown

I think for myself and family, there wasnt just one memory, I don't remember going to a family reunion, or to Gramma and grandpa's house without Rod being there. Always culm and cool, a quite strength almost unmeasurable. This was a man you knew was in charge of his life and accountable for all of it. he was the kind a man we who are men should model themselfs after. I that Rod and my parents, especially Jerry were good friends. My father was never happier than when Rod and cookie would show up to go to a Badger game with my folks. God rest his sole and peace be with you Rod. For 58 years you were part of my life and now a part of me will pass with you. say hi to the folks. with love Robert K. Faga
