Obituary

MOUNT HOREB - June E. Edseth, age 82, of Mount Horeb, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2022. She was born on June 12, 1940, in Shell Lake, Wis., the daughter of Fritz and Marge Paulin. June married Verlyn Edseth on June 14, 1958, in Verona, Wis.

June was the village that raised so many neighborhood kids. She babysat dozens of kids but more importantly, she was a friend of anyone who lived around her or stopped at her door.  She was a great community asset known for running the Red Cross Blood Mobiles, Immanuel church groups and any causes she could help.

She was preceded in death by her parents, nine siblings and loving husband, Verlyn Edseth. She is survived by her children, Chris/Cooter (Shelly) Edseth, Terry (Corky) Edseth, Dawnne Edseth and Bernadette (Mike) Edseth; along with many grandchildren. Most importantly she will miss seeing all of her grandkids (by blood or by neighborhood). She will greatly miss seeing Jacob and Abygael graduate high school and see them thrive, but she knows that they will all make her proud.

Funeral services will be held at German Valley in the early spring with a celebration of life. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
