Obituary
Heather Joy Frazier passed away at the age of 50, on Thursday 12/22/22, at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg after an extended illness. Heather wasn’t expected to make it to her 50th birthday but she showed her immense strength and determination by making it to her final birthday. Heather was born during a winter storm, and she left during one as well. Heather’s biggest joy in life was her 13-year-old daughter, Ande Braelynn Frazier-Knoche. Heather loved her family immensely and was so grateful for their support and love. She enjoyed cooking, watching cooking shows, Wisconsin sports, music, board games and politics.
Heather was preceded in death by her beloved maternal grandparents, Alvin and Edna Gust; paternal grandfather, Ishmael Frazier; maternal aunt, Janet (Gust) Arneson; and cousins, Leo Endres and Bill Witek. She is survived by her daughter, Ande Frazier-Knoche; parents, Michael Frazier and Jill (Gust) Frazier; paternal grandmother, Patricia Frazier; her sisters, Janet Frazier (Jason Hatch) and McKinzie (Frazier) McGregor (James); and Paul Ziegler, her friend. Many aunts, uncles, niece and nephew, cousins and friends that will miss her terribly.
Before her passing Heather made ornaments for her family that said, “It is better to laugh than cry.” This is something her Grandpa Gust would say, and she wanted everyone to remember that when she was gone.
Heather’s family would like to thank those who cared for her, especially Paul Ziegler, the doctors and nurses at St. Mary’s hospital and Home Healthcare. A special heartfelt thank you to Agrace for making Heather comfortable and cared for during her final days. Heather was able to pass away peacefully because of the immeasurable care that Agrace provided.
Please join her family to celebrate Heather’s life at WAUNAKEE AMERICAN LEGION POST 360, 417 E. Main St., Waunakee, from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023.
