OREGON - Patricia Ann “Pat” Held died peacefully and unexpectedly on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2022, at Sienna Crest Assisted Living Facility in Oregon, Wis. She was born in Fitchburg, Wis, on May 20, 1930, to Martin and Katherine Brown Grady. Pat was married to Lee “Bud” Cripps from 1950 until his death in 1968, and then to John Held from 1973 until his death in 1983. Pat enjoyed her longtime work as a receptionist, first at Bowman Farm Dairy and later retiring from Physicians Plus in the ENT Department for Doctors Tyborsky and Lange.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Ruth Grady and Ethel Alt; brother, Phil Grady; nephew, Kenneth Alt; and grandnephews, David Taylor and Jason Kammer. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Ginny and Bill Taylor, Eileen Alt, Nancy Benjamin and Sue and Mike Alt. Pat was “Aunt” to many, loved by all.
Pat will be remembered in a Mass of Christian Burial at ST. THOMAS AQUINAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 602 Everglade Drive, Madison, at 10:30 a.m. on May 20, 2023. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
