Darlene A "DoDo" Capel

Dodo was a great friend for many years. Dodo and I were two of the original members of our Euchre card club starting in February, 1962 (60 years). I will miss our visits and going out for a cup of coffee and a piece of lemon pie. Every year in September when we started cards again we would ask Dodo what she did all summer, and she would always say "I was arranging things in my basement."

Thinking of the family during this difficult time. Remember many good conversations while my car was being serviced. The J girls are a special group of ladies! Michael Schmitz from Ma Schmitty's Ashton Corners.

I have been gone from Cross Plains for almost 50 years, but could never forget DoDo or Jil. I loved the time we bowled together and have such fond memories of the other social events we shared. My deepest sympathy to the family, especially my special friend Holly. Think of all of you often, and always fondly. I wish there were words that could ease the grief you are all experiencing, but only time will help with that.
