Obituary

MOUNT HOREB - Richard Moyer, age 64, of Mount Horeb, passed away on Friday, Nov. 18, 2022. He was born on Sept. 27, 1958, in Dodgeville, the son of Glen and Doris (Broten) Moyer.


Richard proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1976-1980. He worked as a mechanic for over 30 years in the Madison area. Richard enjoyed the simple things in life and loved spending time with his family.


Richard is survived by his son, John (Sara Luchsinge) Moyer; granddaughter, McKensey Moyer; two sisters, Darlene (Arkie) Diehm and Rose (Bruce) Erickson; brother, Roger (Brian) Moyer; and girlfriend, Terri Clay.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Doris Moyer; and brother, Darold (Margie) Moyer.
