Norbert Adelbert Meier

I will always remember Norbert consoling me after my father passed in 1989...I was helping him remove flowers from his side yard because he was tired of mowing around them (yep, that was Norbert). He asked if I learned gardening from my dad, and I did, but I was upset missing my dad and explained his passing to Norby. "Oh No Lisa", he said, "don't be sad, I will be your Dad from now on!" And from that day forward, every card, every phone call, every brunch...he was DAD! I will miss you Dad, but I will always remember! My heart is with you Heidi, Rob, Mark and Joan!!! My heart goes out to all the Meier Clan, I have known and loved this man from the first time I met him. He was loving, kind, silly man and he always included me as apart of his family. I can remember playing poker with him and his buddys. It was always a laugh a minute with those friends. I will always remember Norbert as a finefriend who accepted everyone just for who they were. The hand you were delt was not always easy or pretty, but you went thru life as the kind hearted loving man. My thoughts and prayers go out to Karen, his wife, his children, and his friends. We are all better off having loved Norbert, he will always be a shining lite in my life. You may be gone sweetie, but you will live in my heart forever. Rest in Pease dear Norbert.
