Lou was a kind and supportive co-worker who provided a lot of assistance to me as a new employee of the Wisconsin Technical College System office. One thing that he taught me that I have always remembered was how to speak to groups of college staff from our system with grace and kindness and thankfulness. Lou had a knack for giving a very articulate "benediction" to a group of hard-working educators that made them feel proud and valued. His words could be a welcome gift to many.
Rest In Peace my friend.

Louis Chinnaswamy was the father of one of my oldest and dearest friends, Sharon. Over the 25+ years I’ve known Sharon I have heard so many stories of her father. One that surfaces in my mind over and over again is about the breakfast he would provide for his children. Prof C would be sure they eat protein before
school, often cheese. He would explain that protein was important for their brain function. Every time I meet Dr Chinnaswamy in person, he made me feel so special. He is a man that lives on in the minds and heart of countless people. What a gift to have had him! Sending my deepest condolences!! Love, Gemma

Sad to note the demise of Mr. Louis Chinnaswamy, a relative of mine from my father's side. He used to visit me when ever he was in India. A couple of years back I saw him during his last visit. A friendly person. My heartfelt condolences to the whole family. Xavier Mariadoss, Kariyandal.
