I am so saddened to learn of Rick’s passing. My deepest sympathies to Amy and the kids. My husband Jerry (Porter) worked with Rick. Rick was such a fun-loving guy and I know Jerry really enjoyed working with and getting to know Rick as a good friend. I know Rick will be missed by many. Love, Pam Porter

I worked with Rick until last sat I only knew for a month he was a kind guy with a good sense of humor I am deeply saddened by his passing I’m am glad to have met him prayers to his family and friends may he rest in peace -Ryan

I'm sorry to hear about the passing of Rick. He was a nice person and a good friend. I enjoyed working with him for Larry Batz. He was a hark worker. We had a good talk last summer at the gas station in Arena. That was the last time that I spoke with him. I am sending heartfelt condolences to Amy and his children. One time he stopped by Larry's sawmill when Larry, Jim Campbell and I were working. Jim, who was a big man, said he had lost fifty pounds. Rick's response was "where"? He wasn't afraid to speak his mind I will miss him.
