I was sad to hear that Harold has passed away. I enjoyed meeting and talking with both Audrey and Harold when I volunteered at Coventry Village. Harold was a kind, friendly man and a good sport, participating in my programs even though he didn’t particularly like word games, which most of them were. My sincere sympathy to the family. I hope the happy memories of your many years together bring you comfort Audrey.

Dear Audrey and family.
Please accept the warmest greetings and condolences. I hope that Harold had the pleasure of hearing about Tom, Sue and Kay’s visit to Denmark. I enjoyed their visit at my house. We had the opportunity to exchange memories and look at old photos both from Harold and Audreys participation in my confirmation party in Denmark in 1978 as well as on old pictures wich Harolds mother had sent to her sister in Denmark( my grandmother Martha).
May you remember your time with Harold with joy and gratitude.

Remembering Harold as a major influential individual in our lives that goes back over 60 years when we became next door neighbors . Being newly wedded immigrants from Germany and not knowing the American way with customs of house ownership, neighborhood expectations, starting and raising a family we got lots of good advise and help from the Pedersen family including Harold's mother. They were our role models. We developed common family activities and friends, a friendship had developed over the years. Harold was the sponsor for our becoming citizens of this great country. Many good memories of Harold, he will be remembered. Our deepest condolences to the Family. Marianne and Gary Scherfer and family.
