I am so sorry to hear of Gary's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Gary was the best supervisor & mentor I ever had the pleasure of working for. I am blessed to say that he wasn't just a supervisor though, but a friend. He pushed me to always do better and I will forever be grateful for his influence on me and my career. RIP Gary.

I worked with Gary for my ten years or so at Taycheedah, I had worked at Waupun prior to that. We often talked about our experiences at the institutions, current events, car issues, and kids over coffee in the morning. He was fun, always had humor, and rarely too life too seriously. I missed him when he retired, my thoughts are with Garys family.

I worked with Gary at Dept of Corrections for many years. He was a man of integrity, intelligence and subtle humor. I regret that I did not stay in closer touch with Gary -- a truly irreplaceable friend.

Gary was my supervisor at TCI starting in 2016 until he retired. I am forever grateful that Gary gave me a chance at doing what I always wanted to do- teach. It took me 11 years after graduating college to finally get a job in the teaching field. So happy that I got that chance. Gary was a great supervisor with a memorable sense of humor. He truly cared about his staff as he checked up on us numerous times via the telephone during work hours after his retirement. A good man taken too soon. RIP Gary and my thoughts go out to his family.
