MADISON - Joseph Alton Olson, age 67, of Madison, passed away on Friday, Oct. 14, 2022. He was born on Nov. 9, 1954, in Madison, the son of Alton and LaVon (Steele) Olson.
Joseph graduated from Madison East High School in 1973 and Madison College in 1975. He worked as a computer programmer for Health and Human Services for over 30 years.
Joseph was an avid reader and collector of things. He enjoyed fitness and photography.
Joseph is survived by his sister, Catherine Richard; two brothers, Paul (Anne) Olson and Michael J. (Marita) Olson; nephew, Vincent (Christina) Richard; and great-nieces, Vanessa and Marissa Richard. He was preceded in death by his parents.
