Hello Missy and others- I only met John a couple of times. There are people you meet who instantly you want to know more about. John was clearly one of those! As a fellow Lion and long-time volunteer at the Diabetes Camp in Rosholt, I feel very privileged to have met you and now, learn more of your lifelong commitment to service. I salute you! John and I shared a Mini golf contest at Vitense That opportunity gave me the chance to get to know John on personal level. I found him to be a mentor, friend and a competitor. He won the the match. I learned many valuable things that day. That was one day now multiple that times the days before and after. Times that by the number of people John new. Missy and friends of John. John and I served together on the WLF Board. I valued John as a friend and together we enjoyed years of service to the foundation. I knew of his love and commitment to the Friends and Honors Garden and the Camp will always be better because of John's work. He will be missed by all who knew him
