Dear Bill and families. I was so saddened and shocked to see the nice picture and read the well done story of the life of Jeannie. I had recently brought out pictures from years past 😃 . As I looked at the formal 15x17 black and white portrait from your wedding 💒 I marveled at how young we all were; wondered where those years have gone; and as one of the bridesmaids recalled how that aisle in that beautiful church ⛪️ seemed to stretch forever 🥴🤔. As young married couples we would enjoy evenings of playing cards, board games and popcorn!! Another fun 🤩 memory is when Bills mom taught us “young brides “ how to process the frying chickens 🐓 they had raised. Taking the chickens from running about the farm to being ready to enjoy for Sunday Dinner was something quite new to the “city girls “ Jeannie and Mary H. They stuck it out through the process! 🥴 I pray that fond memories of time spent together during these 63+ years help you through this very sad time. Prayers of peace and comfort to you all. Marlene Bergum, and Robert too.

Although I've lost track of Jean and Bill in the last years, I've never forgotten the friendship we shared when we lived in Brooklyn and in Oregon. Such great memories with the Jaycess/Jaycettes, HMC, and the skiing trips we took together. Jean was always up for fun. She was a dear friend. I pray that Bill and the rest of the family find comfort with their faith and each other. I hope that God pays special attention to them through their sorrow.
