Our dear, sweet Kandy. We are so lucky to have had you for our neighbor. We will miss seeing you out for your nightly walks or jogging the neighborhood. I will miss my face-to face conversations and our long conversations over Messenger. Our lives are better having known you. But I am glad you are free from the battle…. Free from the pain. Your glorified body will be full of energy. There will be no fatigue. No darkness. God wrapped his arms around you, as he knew there was no cure. RIP my dear friend. Our deepest condolences to you, Jon and Juliana. Jeannette and Chris

Kandy was the light in many of our memories. She will be so missed by friends and families. We pray that the good Lord guides and cares for those that are saddened and remain behind until we all meet her again in Heaven.

Kandy was a source of strength for many. I met her the first time through work, a fellow architect, and we stayed friends over the years. She was always there to provide words of encouragement on each new adventure I set out on. Her strength carried me through many great challenges. I am forever grateful to both Kandy and Jon for the friendship.

Kandy worked in our office (Straka Johnson Architects) as an intern for a couple summers. Loved her and we were so happy to see her continue her dream of becoming an architect. Such a sweet, lovely young lady. My heart and love goes out to all of her family. I know she was loved and will be greatly missed. Judy Straka Meyer
