CROSS PLAINS - Donald J. “Jim” Sebree, age 74, of Cross Plains, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022. He was born on April 2, 1948, in Indianapolis, Ind., the son of Donald and Lois (Stonebreaker) Sebree.
Jim moved to Wisconsin to pursue his education at UW-Madison. He was united in marriage to Linda Diederich on September 27, 1980 in Madison.
Jim worked as a purchasing agent at several area companies, enjoyed woodworking, cooking, reading and golfing.
Jim is survived by his wife, Linda; daughters, Erica Sebree and Lisa (Nick) Williams; grandchildren, Mason and Harper Williams; sister, Lois Ann (Chris) Johnson; and two nieces. He was preceded in death by parents, Donald and Lois.
A funeral service will be held at ST. MARTIN’S LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2427 Church St., Cross Plains, at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022, with Pastor Maggie Andersen Peterson presiding. Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON CROSS PLAINS FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 2421 Church St., Cross Plains, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022, and also at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of the service on Sunday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be gifted in Jim’s name to the Doug Miller Fund, Attention: Lung Transplant, UW Health Transplant, 600 Highland Ave. H4/372, Madison, WI 53792-5710.
