Obituary
FITCHBURG - Gary L. Hoff, age 85, of Fitchburg, passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2022, at Capitol Lakes Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born on July 10, 1937, in Medford, Wis., the son of Harvey and Magdalena (Rudolph) Hoff.
Gary graduated from Lincoln High School in Wisconsin Rapids and the UW- Madison. He was united in marriage to Jacquelyn Dunse on Oct. 11, 1961, in Madison. Gary worked as a CPA for RSM McGladrey, retiring in 1997. He was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Gary was an avid Wisconsin sports fan and enjoyed playing softball and bowling. He loved participating in card clubs with his neighbors and friends, traveling, reading and had a great love of cars.
Gary is survived by his daughter, Kristine (Bill) Kepke; special friend, Toni Andress; two sisters-in-law, Esther (J.R.) Marshall and Judy Hoff; Toni's family, Tom, Lynda and Hayden Boyce; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jacquelyn; brother, Doug Hoff; and brother-in-law, Ray Dunse Jr.
A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON FITCHBURG FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 2950 Chapel Valley Road, Fitchburg, at 12 noon on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022. A graveside service will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday.
