Jerry Roger Jeremiason

MADISON - Jerry Roger Jeremiason, age 74, of Madison, Wis. passed away on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2022, at McFarland Villa.  Jerry was born on March 24, 1948, in Monroe, Wis., the son of Merlin and Edith (Overland) Jeremiason.  He graduated from Mount Horeb High School in 1966.

Jerry worked in maintenance for Nicolet Instrument Company which became Thermo Fisher Scientific, retiring after over 30 years.

Jerry was an avid sports fan! He loved cheering on the Brewers, Badgers and Packers.  He enjoyed watching golf which led to collecting golf balls.  He loved camping with his nephews and friends, playing baseball with his family, listening to music (especially Merle Haggard and The Bee Gees), and playing his harmonica.  When he was younger, he liked helping his uncle Ole on the farm. Visiting with his grandchildren would instantly put a smile on his face.

Jerry is survived by his two daughters, Tina (J.D. Drake) Jeremiason and Amy (Larry) Franklin; four sisters, June Lipke, Beverly Jeremiason, Lois Herling and Arlene Christiansen; two grandchildren, Teeanna Brisco and Mya Franklin; as well as many special nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Ever Jeremiason and Eldon Raisbeck.

Jerry's daughters would like to extend a special thank you to his sister, June, their mom, Cheryll Holley, and special nurse, Jill, for all the kind and compassionate care they provided.

A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON CAMACHO MOUNT HOREB FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 500 N. Eighth St., Mount Horeb, Wis., at 12 noon on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Mount Horeb. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday.  Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
