Obituary

LODI - Robert Duane Larson, age 81, passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Columbia Health Care Center.


He was born on October 17, 1941, in Lyndon Station, the son of Gerald and Irma (Phillips) Larson.


He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.


Bob was employed with Badger Ordinance before working and retiring from Oscar Mayer. He did maintenance work for many years with various apartments in the Lodi area.


Bob was known to be able to fix anything a true "Handy Man", repairing clocks, radios, TV's, and all things mechanical.


Bob is survived by his daughter, Laura (Randy) Larson; son, Daryn (Andrea) Larson; granddaughters, Brianna Wenger and Devon Larson; three sisters, Judy Buckley, Pat (Bill) Link, and Yvonne (Jim) Zeman; brother-in-law, Bob Blackburn; sister-in-law, Judy Larson; other relatives and friends.


He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Donna Blackburn, Ann Mae Larson and Sharon Larson; two brothers, Richard Larson and LeRoy Larson; and brother-in-law, Royce Buckley.


A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON LODI FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 157 S. Main St., Lodi, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 30, 2023. Burial will be held at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Lodi. Refreshments and a time of sharing memories will follow at KD's Bar & Grill, 1434 Fair St., Lodi.
