George took all Megan’s friends trick or treating each year and waited patiently for us to go house to house. He took an active role in the Monona swim team and all the activities his beautiful daughters took part in. He was kind, patient, fun, and an incredible father and friend.

Diane Liz and Meagan: I am so sorry to learn about the sudden death of your beloved husband and dad, George. I saw him Pre-COVID on a Sunday morning at Olbrich Conservatory. Sara and I had taken the kids there and he was sitting on a bench inside. He was so happy to be retired and able to volunteer for them. He will be dearly missed in the Madison Community. Take care and stay strong.

Diane and family, I'm sorry to hear of George's passing. Sending heartfelt condolences to your family during this sad time. You both were such great neighbors when my girls and I lived on McCann next door to you at the condos. Any time I ran into George at the DOA building cafeteria he always had a smile and spoke so lovingly of Diane and his girls. Sending hugs and prayers. Pam (Duane) Jacobs
