MADISON - Douglas Henry Mellum, age 58, of Madison, Wis., passed away on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022. He was born on Oct. 15, 1963, in Madison, the son of Ivan and Arlette (Reddeman) Mellum.
Douglas is survived by his son, Dustin D. Mellum; sister, Gerri S. (Bob) Manka; and brother, Dan (Kelsi) Mellum. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan and Arlette.

I was introduced to Doug at Kayser Ford when I had an issue with a Shelby Mustang I owned. The introduction led to a friendship and trust level that is rarely experienced in the automotive service industry. Doug's knowledge, desire to help people and solve problems made him my "go to" person. R.I.P. Doug, and know you'll be missed by family, customers and many friends. Guy

I'm one of Doug's aunts. We've shared many laughs and many tears. At our family reunion (reddefest) he would bring the biggest pan of scallop potatoes and ham. We all looked forward to it. I loved Doug and I know he loved me too. Rest now, I hope you have found peace. Aunt Deb (ambassador Deb).

I only worked with Doug for a few years. But he was always nice to me. He tought me a lot about being a mechanic. Even though he didn't have to. I respected him alot. Im sorry to the family for their loss.
