Obituary
MADISON - Stuart H. Johnson, age 64, of Madison, passed away on Monday, Sept. 5, 2022. He was born on June 23, 1958, in Madison, the son of Richard Johnson and Joyce (Miller) Raisbeck.
Stu graduated from Madison East in 1978. He married Sue Malcheski on Oct. 10, 2009, in Allen Centennial Gardens. He worked as a welder for many years and as a custodian for over five years at the UW FP&M Custodial.
Stu loved being outdoors, whether he was going fishing, hunting or being on the boat. He enjoyed playing guitar and in his free time, he worked on the family cabin. Stu loved his family and many close friends very much, and he adored his dogs, Jazzy and Oreo.
Stu is survived by his wife, Sue; daughter, Taryn Johnson; son, Jessy (Christina) Johnson; stepchildren, Tony and Alex; grandchildren, Ellah and Xavier Chartier and Lilliana, Gabriel and Michael; mother, Joyce Raisbeck; sisters, Julie Johnson, Cheryl Holloway, Liz (Randy) Park, Kristy Johnson and Debbie (Wesley) McEachron; brothers, Wayne Johnson and Alan (Lisa) Raisbeck; stepbrother, Anthony Raisbeck; stepsister, Joyce (Bill) McChesney; brother-in-law, Scott Malcheski; good friend, Craig Shimek; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by father, Richard Johnson.
A celebration of life will be held at FIREMAN’S PARK, 7400 Lee St., Middleton, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022.
