Mort was an awesome person and much loved by all of us who were lucky enough to work at Mortenson, Matzelle and Meldrum. I was shocked and saddened to read the obituaries this morning. I met Mort in college while he was dating my friend M. Jaye. We all became great friends as we “hung out” at the Pharm on State Street. Years later we reunited when our family moved to Maple Bluff and our children became schoolmates at Edgewood Campus School and West High. Special family — special times!! Rest In Peace in Heaven.
