ALBANY / BLACK EARTH / STOUGHTON - On Monday, Aug. 29, 2022, God welcomed Torie Lynn (Kahl) Clason home, and we look forward to the day when we will be reunited with her. Torie was born on June 14, 1976, to Tom and Debby (Slater) Kahl. Torie was very active in her younger years in 4-H and Horse Showing. On April 4, 1998, she was united in marriage to Robert Clason Jr. Her greatest joy and accomplishments are her 4 children. After Mackenzie was born, she became a stay-at-home Mom. She loved to cook and bake, shuttle her children to their events, but most of all she loved taking them to Church. That is where she found her greatest joy at New Heights Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband, Rob; her children, Whitney, Lilly, Mackenzie and Wyatt; her parents; her sister, Terra (David) Uselman and their children, Lexie, Tommy and Davey; her grandparents, Evelyn Kahl, Donna Paff and Ron Paff; in-laws, Robert and Lavonne Clason and Rita and Aaron Tigert, and daughter, Raegan; and many uncles, aunts, cousins and other family members. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Verlyn Kahl and Ralph Slater; and other grandparents, Lloyd and Myra Wendt and Virgil and Dorothy Clason.
The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the Cardiology and Transplant staff at the UW Hospital for the compassionate care provided to Torie throughout the years!
God Bless Pastor Rob and Auna Nelson who have been there and seen us through the worst, as well as all the good times!
If I should go tomorrow, it would never be goodbye….

A service will be held on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022, at NEW HEIGHTS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1705 Center St., Black Earth, at 5:30 p.m. with a visitation from 2 p.m. until the time of the service. Fellowship and dinner will be held after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Torie to UW Health for heart transplants (wiscmedicine.org).
