Gina J. Kuse

MADISON - Gina Joi Kuse, age 57, of Madison, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2022, at Meriter Hospital. She was born on May 15, 1965, the daughter of Carol Jean Fox (Premeau, Kuse).

Throughout the years Gina touched the heart of many people through her passion for cooking which led her to obtain a degree in culinary arts. She worked for many years in restaurants and long-term care facilities to bring comfort to people through food.

Gina will be remembered as a talented chef, a gifted poet, for her bubbly personality, kind heart and love for her grandchildren.

In her free time, Gina enjoyed cooking, reading, sitting by the poolside, helping others, drinking her favorite Hazelnut flavored coffee each morning and visiting bookstores while spending time with her niece Maggie.

She is survived by her stepsisters, Amy Sue Ramey (Bristol, Tenn.), Darla Ann Henrichs (Moline, Ill.) and Pamela Jean Sanderson (Davenport, Iowa); nieces, Maggie Jean Fox (Asheville, N.C.), Tabatha Elizabeth Henrichs (Moline, Ill.), Brandy Lynn Sanderson (Davenport, Iowa) and Brittany Anderson (Silvis, Ill.); grandchildren, William Glenn Kreiner and Jayden Lee Kuse (Florida); and her extended family in Florida. Gina was preceded in death by her grandparents, Anna Schallock (Premeau) and Reuben Schallock (Marshfield, Wis.); mother, Carol Jean Fox (Middleton, Wis.); stepfather, Henry John Fox (Middleton, Wis.); stepsister, Lisa Mae Anderson (Silvis, Ill.); and daughter, Levi Deanna Kuse (Florida).
