Obituary
MADISON- Ellen Louise Pamperin, age 91, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Oakwood Village East. She was born on Oct. 8, 1930, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Hans and Alma (Heuer) Ness.
Ellen married John Pamperin on Sept. 1, 1951, and together they raised six children. Ellen is survived by her daughter, Charlotte (Daniel) Stafford; five sons, John Pamperin, David (Pam) Pamperin, Edward Pamperin, Richard (Jody) Pamperin and Eric (Dawn) Pamperin; 13 grandchildren, Jennifer (Donald), Grant (Emily), Jonathon (Jodi), Christopher, Cortney (Jessica), Nicholas (Elizabeth), Michael (Taylor), Matthew, Isaiah, Nehemiah, Kassia (Josh), Autumn and Cassidy; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; and her parents.
Ellen dedicated her life to being a loving wife and mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Additionally, Ellen’s hope and joy were founded in her faith, her study of the Bible, and service to church and school. Ellen enjoyed tending her gardens, reading historical novels, singing, spending time with her family and friends playing cards, traveling and participating in water exercise.
A funeral service will be held at EASTSIDE EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 2310 Independence Lane, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 4, 2022. A visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday. Burial will be held at Windsor Congregational Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Eastside Evangelical Lutheran Church.
