Obituary
MADISON-Jane Marie Sarbacker Jensen, age 59, of Madison, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2022. She was born on Feb. 20, 1963, in Madison, the daughter of Richard and June (Godding) Sarbacker. Jane graduated from La Follette High School in 1981.
Jane worked as a scheduler for SSM Health. Prior to working at SSM Health, she worked as a hairdresser at various locations. Jane loved camping, cooking, fashion, gardening, and watching her children's activities. Jane was very crafty and loved participating in the annual pumpkin decorating contest at work and winning multiple years in a row! She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Above all, she was hardworking and devoted her life to her children, Jack and Grace.
Jane is survived by her daughter, Grace Jensen; son, Jack Jensen; two brothers, Timothy (Debra) and James Sarbacker; mother, June Sarbacker; sister, Mary (Marc) McNett; two nephews, Tyler (Ashley) and Tommy; four nieces, Allison, Megan, Elizabeth and Molly; and aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father; her grandparents; and her two beloved dogs, Emerson and Violet.
Jane’s family would like to extend a special thank you to those who helped care for her during her illness.
Visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, starting at 1 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 1, 2022, followed by a brief celebration of Jane’s life beginning at 3 p.m.
