STOUGHTON - Bonnie Rae (Baumann) Lathrop, age 75, of Stoughton, Wis. passed away on Sunday, July 3, 2022, at home. Bonnie was born on Jan. 26, 1947, in Milwaukee, Wis., the daughter of Victor Baumann and Lauretta (Torke) Baumann.
Bonnie graduated from Stoughton High School. She married Ralph Lathrop on July 17, 1965, in Monona, Wis.
Bonnie was a wonderful homemaker, who enjoyed gardening and canning. She was an active charter member of Stoughton Baptist Church. She loved her cats and birds as well as crocheting. Over the years, she made numerous afghans, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Ralph; children, Winston (Catherine) Lathrop, Ann (Chris) Hardin and John (Bridget) Lathrop; brothers, Victor (Sharon) Baumann, Jeff Baumann and Mike (Sonia) Baumann; sisters, Patricia McKinnon and Connie Myer; 11 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Maryanne (Mike) Komorowski; and brothers-in-law, Dave McKinnon and Ralph Myer.
A funeral service will be held at STOUGHTON BAPTIST CHURCH, 125 County Road B, Stoughton, Wis., at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 8, 2022, with Pastor Mark Weiss presiding. A visitation will be held at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Friday. Burial will be held at Cooksville Cemetery. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
