Obituary

OREGON - Darryl Weber, age 72, of Oregon, Wis., passed away on Sat., July 2, 2022, at home surrounded by his family. He was born on July 24, 1949, in Darlington, Wis., the son of Walter and Betty (Straseske) Weber.

Darryl graduated from Darlington High School in 1967. He went on to attend Madison Area Technical College (MATC) and earned his degree in Auto Mechanics. He was united in marriage to Connie Lindeman on June 8, 1974, in Mineral Point, Wis.

Darryl owned and operated Weber’s Repair & Skid Steer business, worked for Mid-State Equipment prior to his retirement and spent many years serving on the Oregon Town Board.

Darryl was a loving and devoted husband, dad and grandpa who would spend countless hours giving his grandchildren tractor rides. Darryl enjoyed restoring his classic cars, tinkering in his garage and helping others with their various mechanical projects and questions.

Darryl is survived by his wife of 48 years, Connie Weber; three children, Kimberly (Mike) Behr, Kevin (Emily) Weber and Mathew (Susanne) Weber; grandchildren, Breanna, Samantha, Brianna, Carter, Charlotte, Lane, Jack, Elliott and Olivia; two brothers, Leland (Diana) Weber and Claude (Linda) Weber; three sisters, Kris Weber, Monica Weber and Stephani Weber; two sisters-in-law, Linda (Bob) Felland and Karen Masino; and many nieces, nephews and life long friend, Dave Loken.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Betty; parents-in-law, Raymond and Arlene Lindeman; and brother-in-law, George Masino.

A memorial service will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 1150 Park St., Oregon, Wis., at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 8, 2022. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.

I shared an apartment with Darryl back in the late 60's and again in the 70's when I came back from the service. We were in each others weddings and had so many good times together. Have always said I am going to stop out and see Darryl and Connie and time just slipped by and I didnt make it and now a great friend has passed. Darryl you will always be in my heart you were such a friend. You even co-signed for me on my first car.
