COTTAGE GROVE - Janet L. Boyer, 81, passed away peacefully after a long illness on June 25, 2022. She was born in Eugene, Ore. on March 1, 1941.
Janet and her late husband, Bill, were married for 59 years and were rarely apart from one another. Bill’s career kept them busy and moved them from Washington state to Colorado and eventually to Ohio. They had a love for travel and were blessed to experience many adventures together across the globe.
Janet was a loving stay-at-home mom to her two children, Greg and Kathy. She loved entertaining and she cared deeply for her family and friends.
Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Boyer; and her parents, Neal Pedersen and Mary (Pakulak) Pedersen. She is survived by her children, Greg Boyer and Kathy (Dave) Maurer; her grandchildren, Austin Boyer, Gage (Melanie) Maurer and Tiffany (Josh) Ingram; her sister, Karen (Pedersen) Hayes-Mason; her brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Judy Blain; many nieces; and two great-grandbabies.
