Obituary
STOUGHTON - Jill Ann Drenkhahn, age 69, of Stoughton, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born on August 15, 1956, in Freeport, Ill., the daughter of Robert and Evelyn (Christensen) Layton.
Jill moved to Stoughton as a child with her family. She graduated from Stoughton High School in 1974 and was united in marriage to Gregory Drenkhahn on April 15, 1975, in Stoughton. She worked as a production worker for Stellar Services LLC, retiring in 2018.
Jill cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren-whether she was out shopping, bowling, or cheering them on at their sporting events. Her world truly revolved around her grandkids, who were always at the center of her heart. Family was her greatest joy, and she devoted herself to them completely.
Jill is survived by her husband, Gregory; daughters, Tera (Chuck) Glissendorf and Heather Drenkhahn; seven grandchildren, Beau (Cara), Taylor (Austin), Gregory, Rhea (Deegan), Colin, Ace and Jace; brothers, Dennis (Kathy) Layton and Greg (Jan) Layton; and sister-in-law, Pam (Mike) West. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Evelyn.
A celebration of life will be held at VFW POST 328, 200 Veterans Road, Stoughton, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2025.
