Obituary
Ridgeway - Marilyn M. Conley, age 76, of Ridgeway, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 23, 2022. She was born on April 24, 1946, in Beloit, the daughter of Winfred and Genevieve (Dilliree) Garvey.
Marilyn graduated from Beloit Memorial High School. She married James Conley on July 14, 1973, in Clinton. Marilyn worked in customer service for Lands’ End for many years, retiring in 2009.
Marilyn loved spending time outdoors, birdwatching, gardening, fishing, and everything else that came with country living. She enjoyed traveling, was an avid mystery novel reader and frequented art fairs.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, James Conley; daughter, Angela Conley; son, Josh Conley; sister, Jean Garvey; sister-in-law, Joan Garvey; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, infant Clifford Garvey, Lee Garvey and Neal Garvey; and three sisters, Dorine McGinnis, Gail "G.G." Kuhlow, and Phyllis Chrislaw.
Per Marilyn’s wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be gifted in Marilyn's name to your local food pantry. The family wishes to thank Dr. Mullin and the staff of Upland Hills Hospice and Hospital for all their wonderful care and support given to Marilyn and her family.
