Shawna Bronson

June 01, 1980 - June 20, 2022

Obituary

WYOCENA - Shawna Lou Bronson, age 42, of Wyocena, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 20, 2022, from a brain aneurysm. She was born on June 1, 1980, in Madison, the daughter of Rocky Kleinsmith and Lou (Sanderson) Larsen.

Shawna graduated from LaFollette High School in 1998. She married Scott Bronson, Jr. on Sept. 13, 2008, in Portage.

Most important to Shawna was her love of being a stay-at-home mother to her three children, Seth, Caleb and Bella Rose. She and her husband, Scott, were the proud owners and operators of the Adjustable Fence Company.

Shawna’s favorite pastime was going to the casino and she loved being together with her family and friends whether on family vacations, family get togethers or a "girls night out" with her girlfriends. She will be fondly remembered as a selfless individual, often putting others needs before her own.

Shawna is survived by husband, Scott; two sons, Seth Bronson and Caleb Bronson; daughter, Bella Rose Bronson; father, Rocky Kleinsmith; mother, Lou (Craig) Larsen; two sisters, Tina (Patrick) Varney and Gina (Rickey Workman) Kleinsmith; and brother, Jake (Samantha Schreiner) Kleinsmith.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Richard and Ann Sanderson; step mother, Kathi Kleinsmith; mother-in-law, Cynthia (Smith) Kelly; and uncle, Ricky Sanderson.

A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 2 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2022. Burial will be held at Blooming Grove Cemetery. We had so many fun memories... this is one of my favorite photos of all time from an awesome night out wayyyy back - we had dinner at Hookers and then explored bars in Portage and Poynette. Played the nail game, almost got in a bar fight, delicious shots... the best of times.

i have so many great memories with shawna, i don’t know where to start. every single time i saw her i was greeted with a genuine, beaming smile. growing up she always made such an effort to go to mine and all of her other nieces/nephews events and she was such a proud aunt, and then became most amazing mother to her 3 babies. she was selfless, caring, and the life of the party. she always knew how to cheer me up when i was down. i will remember her laugh the most, it was so infectious. some of my favorite memories with shawna are spending time with her at the campground, spending the weekend at her house, parties, pool days, shopping sprees, and the fact that she took me to the Hilary Duff concert just jamming out with me (even tho she was pregnant with Seth at the time!). i know where she is, she is not alone, and neither are we- we are all connected in our love for shawna so let us lean on each other, let’s show all of our support and love to scott and their children, and find comfort in the many sweet memories i know that we all have with her. one love, always.
