Obituary
STOUGHTON-Beverley A. Anderson passed away on June 5, 2022, at home, surrounded by her family.
Bev lived a life full of faith. She was a true servant to others by actively looking for ways to make someone’s day with kind words or sharing excitement for others’ accomplishments.
Bev loved to bake and was known for her famous fudge. If there was a gathering, she would show up not with just a dish to pass but a carload of homemade food that was overflowing with the love she put into each dish.
Bev loved her husband deeply and they did almost everything together. The last few years looked a little different, but the love and commitment of her caring husband allowed them to continue to do everything as a couple. Bev’s forever word was “Ron.”
Bev’s family is grateful for special friends who lovingly gave their time for Bev. Thank you, Sarah Schwartz, Denise Jacobsen and Molly Krause for the wonderful care you gave. Thank you to Arnie Strouse, who faithfully supported Bev’s husband, Ron, with his friendship and assistance. Thank you to SSM Hospice for their genuine care and support.
Bev left a legacy…Love God, love others. She is deeply missed but we rejoice with the hope we have in Christ.
Beverley is survived by her husband, Ron; sister, Shirley Wagner; brother-in-law, Gerald Anderson; children, Mike Anderson and Linda (Scott) Ziegler; three grandchildren, Scott D. (Nicole) Ziegler, Erica (Scott) Schultz and Brock (Aubrey) Ziegler; five great-grandchildren, Madison Ziegler, Nora Ziegler, Reese Ziegler, Remy Schultz and Baby Boy Schultz (due in July); and grand dog, Kylee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Gladys Heiman; brother, Norman Heiman; and sister, Lorraine Ungethum.
A funeral service will be held at HILLCREST BIBLE CHURCH, 752 E. Netherwood St., Oregon, where Bev was a founding member, at 6 p.m., on Wednesday, June 15, 2022. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday.
The family will forward all memorials to provide Camp Awana scholarships to underprivileged urban kids to attend Christian camp this summer. Bev loved children and was eager to help others and make a difference. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
